The Otto Story

This Helderburg is not only capable for off-roading but is equally comfortable and capable for in-town, highway or week long vacations.

Full Connolly Leather Interior and 100% Wool Carpeting on this Helderburg will set the bar for what many individuals consider the World’s Finest redesigned and rebuilt Defender aka Work of Art on Wheels by Helderburg.

Seating for 6 with 2 bucket seats in the front and center facing benches in rear with room for 4 adults. It’s worth repeating we are doing an exclusive interior with Connolly Leather England which has supplied the leather for Rolls Royce, Bentley and Ferrari to mention a few. The carpet is an authentic German Wool short weave with Connolly leather binding.

The drivetrain will be a Turbo Diesel that will average 28-32 mpg and a soft clutch with a 5 speed manual transmission will keep it enjoyable for several years.

The Helderburgs designed by Paul Potratz are a complete full nut and bolt restoration with a ground up new engine, transfer case, transmission, differentials…everything is new and built better than original.

Time to Drive

2 Weeks to 16 months

Helderburgs ready for delivery require two to three weeks for transport coordination and white-glove handover. Builds approaching completion are weeks or months from delivery. Full bespoke commissions are 12 to 16 months from concept to delivery.
Long-Term

Numbers match

Numbers-matching classic Defenders are no longer manufactured. Original left-hand drive sources are diminishing each year. Each Helderburg is built on a vehicle that cannot be replaced.
