The Ebon Story

The Story

Superb condition! This Numbers Matching Porsche 356C is the rare and highly sought after black on black. Porsche didn’t produce many black on black Porsche 356s and this one is original black on black with “All” numbers matching. Original owners manual. No rust, corrosion or paint bubbling.

Added benefit…We rebuilt the engine to get slightly more power within factory spec and professionally modified the suspension to improve the handling so this 356 can be thoroughly enjoyed in the city or on twisty country roads. It’s a completely different drive than a stock 356 of any year. You simply will not find another 356 in the condition and with the upgrades this one has! Everything is sorted and will provide years of trouble free fun.

Exterior
Porsche Black paint is a perfect deep Porsche Black and has a wet look and has polymer coating applied for easy washing. It was repainted and looks great. Chrome is all perfect and looks factory new, even the chrome screws are perfect shiny chrome like factory new.

The body lines are all excellent and doors shut perfectly as they would have from the factory in 1964.

Wheels and hubcaps are in very good condition. Tires are the new highly desirable and expensive Porsche Spec Pirelli Cinturato Cn36 that retain the original look and was a Factory offering from 1964 and now provides a modern day technology and grip.

Interior
The seats are new from factory perfect with absolutely no rips, tears or wear and the springs are perfect making it a comfortable all day driver.

The carpet is a perfect condition grey/black German squareweave with coco floor mats and center tunnel cover mat.

The dash pad is perfect with no cracks, rips or wear. Headliner is perfect with no fading, stains, rips, or sags.

The brighwork/chrome is free of pitting and looks factory new bright. Gauges were rebuilt, cleaned and look factory new. There is slight wear on the steering wheel.

Original Blaupunkt stereo was serviced and speakers are new old stock with original chrome trim rings.

Seat belts are like new condition with the highly desirable Porsche crest buckles. The dash board paint is shiny deep black and superb. Dash box interior was reflocked. The interior is free of any smells.

This 356C is perfectly sorted and needs nothing. This Porsche 356c has always been black and never had any color changes.

This Porsche 356C has a documented restoration. This has been one of my personal vehicles for the last year. 1964 is a perfect year since it’s the near end of the 356 production run and it has several enhancements over the 1963 and earlier models and it’s a real thrill to drive fast and stops fast.
