The Bleckmann Story
We were lucky and happy to find a 3 Door 110 in Avignon France since Land Rover didn't make that many 3 door 110s and many of them are beyond restoration. This model is my favorite along with the D130 due to it's versatility. If you have kids or dogs then the 3 door 110 is a better option than the 5 door 110 wagon if you have more than 3 passengers. The cabin of the 3 door 110 also provides a more open feel over the 5 door 110.

Bleckmann has been a long time coming since we started this project 2 years ago as I wanted to try something that we had never done prior with the engine, colors and especially the interior, my latest Helderburg is a bespoke in the Ultra-Rare 2-Door D110 body style crafted with an exceptional blend of colors on the exterior and interior, it's borderline erotic.
This 2 door 110 body style, beloved for its expansive interior, is perfectly suited for a large family or an adventurous couple with dogs and hobbies, offering seating for ten and ample rear space with center-facing bench seating.
The Perfect Drivetrain for any Situation
Bleckmann 110 Soft Top is powered by a Helderburg High Output Turbo Diesel engine enhanced with our Mark III Performance Tune, delivers the robust power akin to a modern Jeep, yet surpasses in refinement and ride quality. Its firm yet planted ride and precise steering redefine comfort and control on any terrain. The full time four-wheel drive system can be engaged from inside the cabin and will traverse any terrain but still rides brilliantly and maintains 27-30 mpg. To sum it up we gave it a Bold Stance, Increased the Engine Output but kept the ride that of a Luxury SUV.

Adorned in a hue very reminiscent of Steve McQueen’s favored in Porsche Slate Grey, Bleckmann boasts a 3-ply, four-season almond tan soft top—easily removable in five minutes, reinstallable in ten. Our three-stage concours-level paintwork sets a standard unmatched in the world of Land Rover Defender builders, exuding a wet, flawless finish that captivates both in pictures and in person. Even the undercarriage reflects our commitment to perfection, receiving the same immaculate finish as the exterior.
Craftsmanship Beyond Compare
Every aspect of Bleckmann underscores our philosophy of uncompromising excellence. This ground-up, frame-off custom build features exclusively new components, including many proprietary "Exclusive Helderburg" parts. Such dedication ensures a level of craftsmanship unparalleled in the industry. The appeal of a Classic Land Rover Defender with a turbo diesel is the longevity of the drivetrain with many reaching 500,000 miles with ease and still going strong. In the event repairs are needed, an independent repair shop that works on european vehicles is ideal or even a typical repair shop that works on Ford or Dodge diesels. Parts are plentiful and inexpensive for a Classic Land Rover Defender.
Interior Opulence
The interior of Bleckmann 110 is possibly the most elegant we have ever done to date for a soft top. Hand-stitched to perfection, the leather—custom-tanned by Connolly Leather in England—is a blend of light almond, both perforated and non-perforated, accented with dark grey piping. German wool carpeting, edged with Connolly leather, complements the luxurious aesthetic, exemplifying our meticulous attention to detail. We requested the leather to be custom tanned for us since we went with a thickness nearly twice the standard and increased the wax content, so not only will it withstand large dogs like Lucy climbing about but will also be able to withstand moisture when the top is removed.
