Every Bespoke Helderburg (custom built) started life as an Authentic British Left Hand Drive Defender. We don't work with right hand drive or non British Defenders from Spain, Turkey, South Africa or Japan. Only Authentic True British Defenders for The Helderburg Bespoke Program.

We extensively rework the 300 TDI, suspension and body to provide a quiet comfortable ride that is perfect for highway and city driving. The Bespoke Helderburg Program is a turnkey process. You decide on the model D90 3 door, D110 4 Door or D130 Pickup and we take it from there. We have an inventory of Defenders ready for restoration. Deposit is 50% to reserve your build slot and secure your Defender and build time is approx 21 months.

We're often asked who can service a Defender? Answer: Most independent European repair shops that service Mercedes Benz, BMW and Volvo also work on Defenders. Also shops that service Ford, Dodge and Chevy diesels will service a Defender. However the Fuel Injected Turbo Diesel 300 TDi is highly reliable and most last much longer than 500,000 miles.
The 300 TDi is very fuel efficient and average in the upper 20s' per gallon. They are probably the most practical vehicle available. Not only is there no tune ups due to the Diesel motor but they are highly desirable and increasing in value by an average of 20% annually. No other vehicle does that.

The lighting on a Bespoke Helderburg (custom built Helderburg) is modern LED technology that will light the darkest roads and the light beam pattern is wide to see animals or pedestrians on the shoulder...without blinding on-coming traffic.
The Bespoke Leather Interior is all hand stitched and the seats are completely designed by hand from the seat frame up. We design the seating for our tall and not so tall clients so they are comfortable for long drives. Send this image to someone that would love this interior...tell them the seats are also heated.
Automatic transmissions are available but a manual 5 speed will increase the value and is a lot of fun to drive. The manual transmission has a special clutch that is easy to drive and ideal in city driving.
