I hope you get to feel this one day
I’m not sure if you will fully understand what I’m about to say.
These emotions really have to be experienced.
A writer from Road & Track visited me at my farm in New York to see the Helderburgs in person. He began, like many do, asking about performance specifications. I paused for a moment and said, softly:
“Anyone can put a big engine in a classic Defender. Very few, if any, can save its soul and bring it to life like I do. I want you to experience a Helderburg.”
I handed him the keys to a Helderburg 130 and simply let him drive.

I hope that one day you’ll be able to experience a Helderburg in the snow, over rocks, through sand, across town, or on an epic road trip the way I have for years.
It’s magical. And Tim (the writer) absolutely felt it once he truly experienced it.

Morning coffee.
Or late at night when the mind softens a little.

That sense of being carried by something with history, weight, and a gentle kind of certainty.
I truly hope you get to experience what can only be felt in a Helderburg.
