Commission Range
Final figure depends on body style, materials, and the level of personalization the build calls for. Available commissions are priced individually.
Some names carry a weight that feels timeless Winston Churchill was one of those names — a man of modern vision and classic grit, a statesman who embodied the balance of progress and tradition. It felt fitting that this Classic Helderburg 130 would be inspired by him.
This 1997 British Defender 130 has been reborn as the Classic Helderburg — a creation that honors the classic while embodying the modern. Helderburg preserved the iconic silhouette yet elevated every element to a level of refinement and luxury that is unmistakably ours. It is a one-of-one, numbers-matching heirloom, joining the client’s growing collection of Helderburgs.
The exterior, finished in a deep, timeless custom green, calls to mind Churchill’s own quiet strength and steadfast character. Inside, the saddle-brown interior feels as if it belongs in an English library — the air scented with hand-tanned Scottish leather, the textures reminiscent of the boots and saddles of a gentleman who understood tradition and permanence.
The Classic Defender 130 is not merely restored — it has been reimagined in spirit, keeping its classic British authenticity while embracing modern comforts and timeless luxury. It is a Defender that carries forward the values Churchill himself embodied: resilience, sophistication, and legacy.
As Churchill once said, “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to have changed often.” This Classic Helderburg 130 is precisely that — an authentic classic improved to perfection, created not simply to be driven but to be lived with, remembered, and ultimately passed down.

Ask PaulWhat do you like about this Helderburg?
One of a kind amazing
You have Rolls-Royce Bespoke and Helderburg! Two greats car companies that are top of the top.
The right vehicle is not just a matter of finish or feature. It is a matter of what was kept, what was replaced, and whether the result is still authentic. Once the distinction is clear, the choice tends to make itself.
A faithful return to original specification. Original parts, original behavior, original limitations. It steers like an old Defender, brakes like an old Defender, rides like an old Defender. The Sunday vehicle, in the literal sense.
A new body sourced overseas, fitted to a galvanized chassis of unknown origin, powered by a crate motor. The vehicle is no longer numbers-matching, no longer authentic, no longer a single engineered piece. A kit car assembled from parts that were never designed to work together.
The original chassis. The original engine block. Numbers match. Everything else, every system the vehicle relies on, has been redesigned in-house and built only for Helderburg. What the original Land Rover engineers would have built if they had today's tools and time.
Each Helderburg meets the same standard. What varies is how a buyer enters the build. Some commissions are available now, some are approaching completion with personalization still open, and some begin from a private conversation.
